Gabi Zanotti celebrates 41st birthday in Brazil women’s camp | OneFootball

Gabi Zanotti, the No 10, marked her 41st birthday on Saturday while in Brazil’s women’s national team camp preparing for the March FIFA window.

“I am very happy to spend my birthday here, away from my family but close to many people I admire. It is very special to mark another year doing what I love. Not everyone has the privilege of working in what they love, we are very blessed for that,” she told CBF TV.

The Corinthians midfielder, from Espírito Santo, joined the club in 2018 and is their most decorated player, with 18 trophies.

She has played 255 matches for Corinthians, starting 204, with 118 goal contributions, 86 goals and 32 assists. Her contract runs to December 2027.

After almost six years away, Zanotti returned to the Seleção in November last year and remains among the call-ups for the first internationals of 2026. She recently featured in a 5-2 win over Costa Rica at Estadio Alejandro Morera Soto in Alajuela.

Arthur Elias’s side face Venezuela on 4 March at 18:00 at the Mexican Football Federation training centre in Toluca, the second of three matches this window.
