Gaviões da Fiel president Alexandre Domenico Pereira, known as Alê, has publicly backed judicial intervention at Corinthians and urged the club’s hierarchy to move forward with discussions on the SAFiel project. As reported by Meu Timao, he shared his personal view on Thursday on social media.

His post followed, by two days, an injunction obtained by lifetime councillors Alexandre Husni, Ademir Benedito and Guilherme Strenger from the São Paulo Court of Justice, which suspended Saturday’s General Assembly planned to vote on a statute reform.

Alê criticised the association model at Parque São Jorge, saying it has failed because private interests prevail. He said he has lost faith in internal self reform, arguing that resistance from the Deliberative Council and the board to pass the reform shows a system designed to protect itself.

He voiced support for a court led intervention, while saying São Paulo’s public prosecutor should be transparent with supporters during the ongoing civil inquiry. In his view, such a move might be the only way to break opaque contracts and harmful backstage practices.

Alê also questioned directors and councillors sceptical of SAFiel, suggesting their real fear is having to adopt stronger transparency and professionalism in football if talks progress. He challenged them to sign the non-binding offer so the market can show whether the plan can raise R$ 2.5 billion from fan-shareholders.

He added that he was speaking as a supporter only, not on behalf of Gaviões da Fiel.
