Hanna Bennison's first interview | OneFootball

Upon putting pen to paper to seal her move, Hanna spoke for the first time as a Bianconera.

“I am very excited to be here and join this amazing club,” she said. “I am really looking forward to it, and I can’t wait to start training and meet all the staff and players.”

Hanna joins Juventus from English side Everton, where she has been since 2021, and the midfielder made the move to Italy in search of a new experience and different style of play.

“I wanted something different from what I have experienced in Everton, and I feel like the playing style, especially at Juventus but also in Italy, is a bit different: More possession and wanting to have the ball and that’s what I like about the game. And also, I feel like Juventus is a really good club to join and to develop and be an even better player, so I’m excited for it!”

The 21-year-old is keen to get started with the Bianconere and discussed the areas of her game she is hoping to improve during her time with Juventus Women.

“Especially my offensive game I would say, because that’s where I think I have the most strength so I just want to be even better there: Passing, the finishing pass and shooting as well, scoring goals hopefully! But of course, also defensively like winning duels and tackles.”

Swedish International Bennison believes her vision on the ball and work rate are the main assets she will bring to the team.

“I hope I can play good football and play good balls, maybe get some assists and maybe some goals. Just help the team in any way, also by working hard and giving everything.”

Before wrapping up, Hanna revealed her ambitious personal goals that she is hoping to achieve with the club.

“My goals coming here: of course, I want to play, but also develop as much as I can as a player in different aspects. Growing as a player and being the best version of myself.”
