Uli Hoeneß goes into raptures: The Bayern patron ennobles Harry Kane – and would pay even more for him

At an event at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, Hoeneß made it clear how important Kane has become to the record champions. Although Munich invested around €100 million in the attacker in the summer of 2023, the 74-year-old would dig even deeper into his pockets today

„Today I would buy him for 150 million,“ explained Hoeneß, underlining the enormous value he places on the 32-year-old. For the long-time Bayern boss, it’s not just about goals, but above all about the Englishman’s overall impact: „Because he’s a dream for Bayern Munich. A figurehead worldwide.“

Hoeneß is particularly impressed by Kane’s influence on the younger players in the squad: „A good character, a role model for our youth, our 18-year-olds. He gives them a hug. He tells them how to shoot the ball.“
