Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez was spotted looking nothing short of delighted in the stands, after watching his side retake the lead in today’s Madrid Derby.

Real are of course currently locked in action in the Spanish capital.

This comes after Xabi Alonso’s troops made the trip to the Metropolitano for a meeting with city rivals Atlético.

A pulsating affair has since been played out, filled with goals, drama and intensity.

Amongst those to have found the net was Arda Güler, amid what has been a brilliant individual performance to date.

Laid on courtesy of a classy assist on the part of Vinícius Jr, the young Turk made no mistake in directing a cultured left-footed finish beyond Jan Oblak.

And as alluded to above, one individual who could not help but express his delight with such efforts was Florentino Pérez.
