Tottenham Hotspur are gearing up to headline Saturday’s Premier League fixture line-up as they welcome Manchester United to North London.

Spurs are looking to build on their emphatic 4-0 win against Danish powerhouse FC Copenhagen in the Champions League – a result that snapped their two-match losing streak.

Tottenham have struggled with consistency this season. They’ll head into Saturday’s blockbuster on the back of two wins from six games in all competitions (D1, L3).

Spurs have also won just two of their last six Premier League games (D2, L2) and are hoping to bounce back from a 1-0 defeat against Chelsea in the London derby.

Coming up against United is a daunting task considering the Red Devils have been on a comeback trail over the past few weeks.

While Tottenham will be determined to head into the international break with back-to-back wins in the bag, they’ll have to do so with an increasingly concerning number of players on the sidelines.

How Tottenham could line up

Tottenham manager Thomas Frank could be without up to 10 players for the game against United.

Spurs’ concerning injury list, combined with fixture congestion, could force the Danish manager to make at least four changes from the team that decimated Copenhagen in midweek.

Frank could make one change to his back five with Djed Spence coming in for Destiny Udogie, despite the Italian’s impressive performance in Europe.

Spence will likely link up with Micky van de Ven, Cristian Romero, and Pedro Porro in defence ahead of Guglielmo Vicario.

There could be further changes in the middle of the park, with Joao Palhinha returning to anchor the midfield alongside Rodrigo Bentancur and Pape Matar Sarr.

Xavi Simons was impressive in midweek and could retain his place while Mohammed Kudus returns to the starting XI, although his involvement hangs in the balance.

If the game comes too soon for the 25-year-old, Brennan Johnson will likely take his place while Richarlison leads the line ahead of Randal Kolo Muani.

The Brazilian had a chance to make it 5-0 from the spot in midweek but failed to convert from 12 yards.
