Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has named one thing that Bayern Munich have over Chelsea, and many Blues fans will agree.
We watched on last night as Bayern beat Chelsea 3-1 in the Champions League but the result probably suggests it was easier than it actually was.
I think Chelsea pretty much gifted Bayern all three of their goals with mistakes basically. They just didn’t defend Bayern’s first goal well enough and it was far too easy for the ball to be bundled into the goal as many Blues players switched off.
Chelsea soon found themselves 2-0 down when Moises Caicedo dragged Harry Kane down in the penalty area, which was not a good move from the usually 100% reliable centre midfielder.
Cole Palmer did grab a goal back for Chelsea with a fine run and then equally fine finish to bring it to 2-1, and many of us thought a comeback might be on the cards.

But then in the second half after Chelsea had another decent spell, Malo Gusto was closed down quick when Chelsea tried to play out from the back and under pressure, he passed it straight to Kane to score his second of the night with ease really.
As many of us Chelsea fans have been saying for a long time now, this squad just lacks experience and some more balance in that sense.
And Maresca agrees….
As reported by Nizaar Kinsella of The BBC, Maresca said after the game:
“In terms of experience, there was a huge difference. Even with that, we competed in the right way in this stadium against this team. I came here before with different teams, it is so difficult to come here and compete, you can’t come here and dominate for 90 minutes.”
