Hull make £22.3m offer for Toulouse striker Emersonn | OneFootball

According to Sky Sports, Hull City have made an improved offer of £22.3m for Toulouse FC striker Emersonn (21) after their previous bid was rejected. 

The Brazilian only joined the French side last summer when he was scouted from the Turkish side Göztepe S.K. Emersonn made an immediate impact on a Toulouse team that did not always impress going forward, scoring seven and assisting three across all competitions. 

He showed at times a poor disciplinary record, picking up six yellow cards and one red in 34 games, which saw him suspended for two matches in a campaign where he missed only four games in total. 

Hull are not the only newly promoted side in the Premier League looking at the striker, with Ipswich Town also thought to be interested in Emersonn. Ipswich have also shown an interest in a fellow Brazilian plying their trade in Ligue 1, with The Tractor Boys interested in Lille OSC’s Alexsandro.
