There’s an increasing about of chatter about Chelsea youngster Ryan Kavuma-McQueen as we head into the days of preparation for Saturday’s FA Cup tie against Port Vale.
The 17 year old is the latest red hot talent to come out of the academy, and he’s increasingly tipped to make his debut this week. Simon Johnson of the Athletic has done a long piece about him today.
“I may shed a tear if he gets on the pitch,” his mother Alison said of a potential debut for her son.
“It is not the end goal, but it is another step to where he wants to be. It would be a good end to the season. He has worked hard for it.”
Seeing another Cobham product make their debut would certainly cheer things up at Chelsea a little. What we need is a big win, some debuts and a bit of a mood improvement after four defeats on the spin. The run in looks really nasty , and we need all the confidence we can get.
Malo Gusto has spoken about how he wants to become the best right back in the world.
Chelsea made the second most they’ve ever made in revenue in the last financial year, a healthy £490.4m.
