Then, the chatbot predicts an upgrade in infrastructure, before committing to a long-term plan.

Recruitment will become smarter, more data-driven and sustainable, which will allow the Owls to focus on promotion instead of survival.

This sounds quite similar to the approach city rivals Sheffield United have taken in recent times, with the jury still out on whether it is the best route to go down.

During the final years of Chansiri’s reign, supporters felt disconnected from Wednesday and no longer recognised the club they once loved so much.

This means that they would be able to attract more exciting youth prospects to the club in years to come, which provides a much better foundation for Wednesday in the long-term.
