John Stones continues to be linked with a move to Italy this summer, and the latest updates from Fabrizio Romano confirm that both Inter and Juventus are in contact with the player’s agent.

Genuine Stones interest from both Inter and Juventus

England international Stones is available on a free transfer after leaving Manchester City upon the expiry of his contract on June 30. The 32-year-old spent 10 seasons at the Etihad, and won six Premier League titles and the 2022-23 Champions League during his time in Manchester.

There has been plenty of interest in the 2026 World Cup semi-finalist in the early stages of the summer transfer window, and Fabrizio Romano confirms that both Inter and Juventus are exploring the possibility of bringing the Englishman to Serie A for 2026-27.

Romano claims that Inter have been in direct contact with the player’s agent for several days and that Juventus have also been in touch to request information.

Stones is said to be keen on the idea of trying a new chapter in Italy, despite surveys in the Premier League from Chelsea and Arsenal.
