Inter consider shock swoop for Manchester United outcast Sancho if Lookman pursuit fails | OneFootball

Inter are considering a move for Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho, reports from Italy claim, if the Nerazzurri fail to sign Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman.

Lookman has been strongly linked with a move to Inter this summer but there appears to still be distance between La Dea’s asking price and what Cristian Chivu’s side are prepared to pay.

Gazzetta dello Sport, via CalcioMercato, are reporting today, therefore, that Inter are starting to line up alternative options, should they fail in their pursuit of Lookman.

Inter join Juventus in race for Sancho

Sancho has just one-year left on his contract with Manchester United and has been linked to Juventus this summer, with the Bianconeri reportedly closing on a deal to sign the former Borussia Dortmund winger.

However, Inter have shortlisted Sancho and Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku as potential Lookman alternatives. Sancho holds an advantage in that he would cost the Nerazzurri significantly less than a deal for Lookman or Nkunku, with his price-tag set at just €25 million.
