Lautaro Martinez was surely not happy to be subbed off in an away game against Atletico Madrid last night, and even Nerazzurri legend Julio Cesar feels the Argentine was ‘angry’ with his coach.

The Argentine forward was taken off at minute 72 in an eventual 2-1 loss against Atletico Madrid and was surely not happy to see his number appear on the electronic board.

Lautaro shook his head while leaving the pitch, and once he sat on the bench, he threw a plastic bottle to the ground.

Lautaro had already been subbed off during the derby della Madonnina on Sunday, but he had shown no sign of frustration on that occasion.

“By looking at the footage, it appears to me that Lautaro was angry with his coach,” said Inter legend Julio Cesar last night (via TMW).

The former Brazilian goalkeeper was commenting on the game as one of the Amazon Prime Italia pundits.

Inter have now lost two consecutive games across all competitions and visit Pisa in their next league game on Sunday.
