Inter Milan star Federico Dimarco played a pivotal role in last night’s resounding 2-0 home victory over bitter Serie A rivals Lazio.
According to the Italian media via L’Interista, the 28-year-old’s assist was worthy of a goal.
Inter Milan strolled to a comfortable home win over a disjointed Lazio side on Sunday evening, moving to the top of the table in the process.
Indeed, Cristian Chivu’s charges will spend the international break at the top of the tree, courtesy of a superior goal difference to Roma.

While Denzel Dumfries was merely a shadow of his true self, Dimarco produced a stellar performance.
Furthermore, his defense-splitting low cross set Ange-Yoan Bonny for a game-defining second goal in the 62nd minute.
Though Bonny was the executioner, Dimarco’s role was essential, as he did all the heavy lifting in the build-up.
Meanwhile, his reckless handball denied Piotr Zielinski his second goal in three matches.
