Inter Milan striker Francesco Pio Esposito got off and running for Italy yesterday.
The 20-year-old came off the bench in yesterday’s World Cup qualifying clash with Estonia. He repaid the faith of coach Gennaro Gattuso by scoring the all-important third goal.

“To score your first goal for the national team is the kind of feeling that you can only understand after some time has passed.”
“Right now I have a million thoughts running through my head,” continued Pio Esposito.
“But for me this has to be a starting point,” he added.
