Internacional have moved quickly after selling Vitão to Flamengo, confirming the loan arrival of Félix Torres.

The club announced on their social channels that the Corinthians centre-back will stay in Porto Alegre until the end of this season.

By the end of the 2025 campaign, Flamengo had made clear they wanted a centre-back, with Vitão identified as their priority target.

Late last year, Flamengo reached agreement with Internacional and completed the deal for Vitão, investing about 10.2 million euros, R$ 65.3 million at the time, with nearly half offset against a debt linked to Thiago Maia.

Vitão, Flamengo’s first signing of the year, has joined pre-season with the senior squad, which began on Monday 12 at the Ninho do Urubu. He is training under coach Filipe Luís. His debut remains undecided.

Flamengo’s next Carioca fixture is against Vasco on Wednesday 21 at the Maracanã, kick-off 21:30 Brasília time.
