Internacional announce loan signing of Félix Torres until December 2026 | OneFootball

Félix Torres has joined Internacional on loan from Corinthians until December 2026.

According to Meu Timao, the defender arrived in Porto Alegre on Thursday for medicals and to complete paperwork. The clubs will share his wages, and the deal includes an option to buy with the fee undisclosed.

Talks were advanced early in the year, but an outstanding payment owed by Corinthians to the player, estimated at 500,000 dollars, delayed completion. After Corinthians made a proposal, negotiations with the club were concluded.

Torres moved to Parque São Jorge in January 2024 after Corinthians paid 6.5 million dollars to Santos Laguna of Mexico. Overdue instalments triggered a Fifa transfer ban that was lifted at the start of this year. Corinthians retain 80% of his economic rights, with a deal to December 2027.

He has made 80 appearances for Corinthians, starting in 73. Last year he lost his place under Dorival Júnior and was fifth choice at centre-back. The arrival of Gabriel Paulista further hindered his prospects.
