Port Vale are dreaming of Wembley but will require their biggest FA Cup miracle yet as they travel to Chelsea in the quarter-finals.

The Valiants, who sit bottom of League One, have embodied the magic of the cup this season by dumping out Bristol City before stunning Premier League Sunderland, and are now just one match away from a trip to England’s hallowed national ground.

They are huge underdogs against heavyweights Chelsea but will hope that the Blues’ struggles before the international break have carried over, with Liam Rosenior’s side coming off four consecutive losses.

Chelsea have already been subject to a scare in the cup this term and required extra time to scrape past Wrexham in the fifth round, coming from behind twice to scupper a giant-killing in a 4-2 win.

When is Chelsea vs Port Vale?

Chelsea’s quarter-final clash with Port Vale kicks off at 5:15pm BST on Saturday 4 April at Stamford Bridge.

The match will be broadcast on BBC One as well as TNT Sports 1 and TNT Ultimate. It can also be streamed on BBC iPlayer, the BBC Sport website and HBO Max.

Chelsea’s injury problems have eased up after something of an injury crisis but Reece James remains a doubt due to a hamstring issue, while Trevoh Chalobah is also out after suffering an ankle injury against PSG. Enzo Fernandez has been dropped for Chelsea’s next two games.

Vale, meanwhile, are without midfield duo George Byers and Ryan Croasdale, along with defender Ben Heneghan. They boast a few former Premier League names such as ex-Manchester United goalkeeper Ben Amos and Andre Gray, formerly of Burnley and Watford.
