J1897 Day: A day for celebrating a shared passion | OneFootball

On Saturday 24 May, the Allianz Stadium hosted the J1897 Day, an exclusive event dedicated to J1897 Membership holders, with this year’s edition inspired by the legendary Tokyo ‘96 Intercontinental Cup victory. It was a special occasion to celebrate the bond between Juventus and its most loyal fans, who experienced an entire day of Juventus passion.

The 200 J1897 Members present were greeted in the afternoon by a welcoming committee with a welcome coffee, before diving straight into the heart of the event with a series of themed panels hosted in four exclusive areas of the stadium. From match analysis to pitch management, from fan entertainment to digital content created for the Juventus community: the members were able to discover more about different aspects of the Juventus world and experience it all from a unique, closer and more engaging perspective.

But the most eagerly awaited moment came in the evening, with club legends taking to the stage, including [Angelo] Peruzzi and [Alessio] Tacchinardi, two protagonists of that historic Japanese night in 1996, alongside the special participation of Sergio Brio, Juventus Fan Ambassador. Amidst emotional stories, smiles and applause, the audience were able to enjoy all the magic of Juventus’ history.

Afterwards, the buffet dinner provided an opportunity for entertainment and interaction. Guests were able to take photographs alongside the Intercontinental Cup, enjoy meet & greet moments with the Juve legends, and take part in various activities that made the experience even more unforgettable.

The grand finale was a perfect mix of competition and passion: a quiz on the Juventus legends, an award ceremony for the best 90s-themed outfit in accordance with the evening’s dress code, and some closing conversations, in a warm atmosphere that brought the Juventus family even closer together.

The J1897 Day certainly lived up to its reputation of being a unique event, capable of transforming passion into lived experiences. A day filled with the passion, that only true fans know how to bring.
