João Félix made a surprise return to Estádio da Luz on Tuesday, drawing attention from Benfica supporters. According to Glorioso 1904, the Portugal international shared images from inside the ground while attending the opening night of Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny’s concerts.
The forward, who will play at the 2026 World Cup, was accompanied by his brother, Hugo Félix, and by friends Miguel Nóbrega and influencer Diogo da Silva, known as MoveMind.
Both Hugo Félix and Nóbrega also came through Benfica’s academy, though they now represent Tondela and Vitória de Guimarães respectively.
Félix’s visit comes during a notably positive spell in his career. The former No 79 at Benfica was recently recognised as the Saudi league’s best player after a standout season with Al Nassr.
He finished with 20 goals and 13 assists in the league, edging Cristiano Ronaldo, Ivan Toney, Julián Quiñones and Rúben Neves to the prize.
Jorge Jesus was also named coach of the season after leading Al Nassr to the championship.
Despite success abroad, Félix’s connection to Benfica remains strong.
