Leeds United summer target Julian Brandt has joined Ajax on a three-year contract, having also received an offer from Leeds.
The club said in a statement that the deal is effective immediately and runs until 30 June 2029.

The 30-year-old Germany international became a free agent when his Borussia Dortmund contract expired this summer, ending a seven-year spell. His father, Jurgen, visited Thorp Arch for talks during Leeds' pursuit.
Brandt previously spent six seasons at Bayer Leverkusen and has 48 Germany caps.
Leeds have been assessing alternative attacking options since failing to secure Brandt before their pre-season tour of the USA, with Marseille forward Igor Paixão among those under consideration.
