Borussia Dortmund have confirmed Julien Duranville has joined reigning Swiss champions FC Basel 1893 on loan with immediate effect.
Sporting director Sebastian Kehl said the 19-year-old remains a player of great potential, but injuries have curtailed his chances lately. He added that Dortmund view this as the right step for his future at BVB.

Duranville has been on Dortmund’s books since January 2023.
The move should give him more game time to aid his development.
The loan runs until the end of the 2025-26 season.
