Juventus are considering a move for Manchester United forward Alejandro Garnacho, according to Corriere dello Sport.
The Argentine has struggled for game time under manager Ruben Amorim, starting five games across all competitions.
Amorim left him out of the squad for the Manchester derby due to ill-discipline. The winger appears to have made amends and has made every matchday squad since then.
He started the FA Cup third-round clash with Arsenal on Sunday. He grabbed an assist to record his second goal involvement under Amorim.
Garnacho is struggling to play as a number 10 in Amorim’s 3-4-2-1 set-up, being a natural winger. He could leave United if he fails to adapt.
Napoli have been linked with him as they seek a replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who is on the verge of joining Paris Saint-Germain.
The Serie A club have spoken with the Argentine representatives through their director, Giovanni Manna.
They have also spoken to United about possibly signing the Argentina international. The Red Devils are demanding £67.5 million for him.
The Parthenopeans must now hurry to sign Garnacho to prevent Juventus from snapping him up. They are eyeing a move for the left winger but will only make a move next summer.
Man United are focused on disposing of Marcus Rashford rather than Garnacho this month. It is doubtful they sell the Argentine in this transfer window.
However, that may change if Napoli or any other club decide to pay a reasonable fee for his services.
This would allow Man United to sign a replacement and may assist in reinforcing other areas of the squad.
Garnacho was considered untouchable last summer, but the Red Devils have changed their stance on him.
