Giorgio Chiellini says there is no rush, and no doubt, about securing Luciano Spalletti on a new Juventus contract, with his current deal up on June 30 ahead of tonight’s Lazio clash.

“We are very happy with Spalletti and what he is achieving, I think he too is enjoying his time at Juventus. There is no rush, but also no doubt.” He told DAZN Italia.

“Luciano arrived here with great enthusiasm at Juventus, and he signed a contract with no guarantees precisely because he wanted to challenge himself. He is doing very well, he is part of the present and the future of this team.”

Juventus host Lazio at the Allianz Juventus Stadium in Turin, kick-off 19.45 GMT, 20.45 CET.

The Bianconeri have climbed the table in recent weeks, although they suffered a heavy 3-0 Coppa Italia quarter-final defeat to Atalanta on Thursday.

This week also brought a boost as Kenan Yildiz signed a new deal, despite interest from major clubs around the world in the Turkish talent.
