Kasper Høgh aims to bring Bodo/Glimt winning mentality to Celtic | OneFootball

Kasper Hogh believes the winning culture established at Bodo/Glimt can help him make a positive impact at Celtic after completing his £11m switch to the Scottish champions.

The Denmark striker has arrived on a four-year contract, becoming Celtic’s second addition of the transfer window after the signing of Camilo Duran.

Having enjoyed memorable European nights under Kjetil Knutsen, Hogh is keen to transfer those experiences to Glasgow as Celtic prepare for another Champions League campaign.

“It was amazing, the journey we had there with Bodo,” he said at his first press conference.

“I played on a good team, with good teammates also, but I think you learn that it doesn’t matter who you play against, that you can match up against everybody, and if you have the loyalty and you work as a team, then you can accomplish a lot.

“First of all, we have to qualify [for the Champions League]. I take one day at a time, but you are allowed to dream.”

The 25-year-old feels Bodo/Glimt’s collective mindset has been the driving force behind their impressive performances against Europe’s elite and hopes to instil that same approach at Celtic.

“I think it is the mentality in Bodo.

“You can’t make that mentality in every place, and we knew that one-on-one, we are not the best, but we can work as a team, and when you are loyal to the plan, then you can stay in the game.

“I hope I can bring it to the team and to my teammates also, that we can have that feeling together, that we are happy together and we want to do our best for each other.

“I hope I can bring that.”
