Masuaku joined Sunderland from Beşiktaş last summer, returning to England after a spell with West Ham United.

Signed to add experience on the left of Régis Le Bris’ squad, he struggled for minutes and joined RC Lens on loan in January for the rest of the 25-26 campaign. His long-term role on Wearside remains uncertain as Sunderland reshape for Premier League, Europa League and domestic cup football.

Reinildo Mandava is among Le Bris’ established left-back options. Aji Alese and Leo Hjelde can also cover, though their Premier League readiness is not yet clear. Sunderland are expected to consider suitable offers for players unlikely to feature regularly, with outgoings important under Premier League and UEFA squad-cost rules.

Masuaku has extensive experience in Türkiye with Beşiktaş, which could appeal to Konyaspor as they assess defensive additions.
