The latest performances being put forth by two leading members of the first-team ranks at Real Madrid have culminated in comparisons with a pair of iconic figures in Spain’s capital.

As much comes owing to their respective efforts against Real Sociedad.

Real Madrid are of course currently locked in action.

In their post-international break return, Los Blancos have made the trip to Anoeta, to take on Real Sociedad.

And despite having seen Dean Huijsen given his marching orders for a controversial last-man challenge, Xabi Alonso’s troops have continued to build upon what has been a fine start to the campaign.

Kylian Mbappé opened the scoring in San Sebastian, taking advantage of a misplaced pass in Real Sociedad’s half to net a goal all of his own making.

And the Frenchman then turned creator a short time later, conjuring up a brilliant darting dribble, before laying on Arda Güler to make it two.

And as alluded to above, such endeavours on the part of Real’s two goalscorers have not gone at all unappreciated amongst the club’s supporters.
