Mbappe Gets 9.5, Huijsen With 5.5 | Real Madrid Players Rated In Hard-Fought Win Vs Real Sociedad

Real Madrid faced off against Real Sociedad at the Reale Arena earlier today as they hoped to earn a good result away from home in La Liga. Los Blancos made a quick start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 12th minute thanks to Kylian Mbappe’s effort. Dean Huijsen was sent off by the referee in the 32nd minute. However, the ten men of Madrid managed to score their second goal in the 44th minute courtesy of Arda Guler’s effort. Xabi Alonso’s side were leading 2-0 at the half-time break.
Mikel Oyarzabal got a goal back for the home team from the penalty spot in the 56th minute. However, Los Blancos hung on to their narrow lead and earned a hard-fought 2-1 win on the road.
Let’s take a look at how each Real Madrid player fared during the clash against Real Sociedad.
Courtois made a few solid saves at the back and did enough to limit the opposition to just one goal.
RB: Dani Carvajal – 6.5/10
He cleared the danger when he could and made one good chance going forward.
CB: Eder Militao – 7.5/10
Militao performed his defensive duties well and was a real handful in the final third.
CB: Dean Huijsen – 5.5/10
The Spaniard made a good start to the game but let his teammates down by getting sent off in the 32nd minute.

LB: Alvaro Carreras – 7/10
He caught the eye at times on both ends of the field.
CM: Aurelien Tchouameni – 7/10
Tchouameni anchored the midfield with conviction but offered very little going forward.
CM: Dani Ceballos – 7/10
He offered decent protection for his teammates at the back and was good on the ball.
RW: Brahim Diaz – 6.5/10
Diaz managed to shine at times in the first half and was substituted at half-time.
CAM: Arda Guler – 8/10
He was a constant menace in the final third and did well to score in the latter stages of the first half.
LW: Vinicius Junior – 7/10
The Brazilian winger made a few dangerous runs with the ball, but there was no goal for him.
ST: Kylian Mbappe – 9.5/10
Mbappe caused all sorts of problems for the opposition defenders. He ended the game with a goal and an assist to his name.
Substitutes:
CM: Federico Valverde – 6/10
He added some energy to Alonso’s midfield.
LB: Fran Garcia – 6/10
Garcia was solid at the back.
