Lazio claimed an impressive 1-0 win over Milan at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday night, settled by a first-half strike from Gustav Isaksen. The Rossoneri missed the chance to trim the gap to Serie A leaders Inter.

According to Football Italia, Mario Gila was man of the match for an impeccable defensive display, while Maurizio Sarri earned a 7.5 for a well-drilled, hit-and-run plan. The report also named Alexis Saelemaekers as Milan’s standout and criticised Pervis Estupinan for the decisive error before his 57th-minute withdrawal.

Saelemaekers created six chances and worked tirelessly in both directions. By contrast, Estupinan struggled on the left and was pinpointed as a vulnerability in the visitors’ back line.

Massimiliano Allegri was handed a 5.5 after last weekend’s derby high, his changes making little impact. He was nevertheless credited for withdrawing Rafael Leao following a lacklustre outing.

From the bench, Boulaye Dia had almost no influence across nearly 30 minutes, registering fewer than 10 touches as Lazio protected their lead to the end.
