Lazio return to Serie A action after the international break with a trip to Bergamo to take on Atalanta, but Maurizio Sarri will have to do so without starting centre-forward Taty Castellanos, who could miss the next two months of action according to the latest updates.
Castellanos, who has two goals and three assists from his five Serie A starts so far this season, is set for a significant spell on the sidelines with an injury to the rectus femoris muscle in his left thigh.
The Argentine was forced out of training with Lazio on Friday, and has since reported for further medical examinations.

Though Lazio have not yet made an official announcement regarding Castellanos’s conditions, multiple outlets are reporting that he will miss several weeks, if not months with the injury to his thigh.
As per Sky Sport Italia, the Biancocelesti are likely to be without Castellanos for six to eight weeks as a result of his latest injury.
