AC Milan are gearing up to face Lazio on matchday 29 of Serie A, scheduled for 15 March at 20:45 CET. The match will take place at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. Coach Allegri's side are all set to take on Sarri's squad in a showdown that promises to be an entertaining clash. With the league now in its final stretch, every point is crucial and decisive for the Rossoneri. Here is our Match Preview.

LATEST FROM MILANELLO The Rossoneri come into this match on the back of two wins in their last two games, including the Derby, with Mike Maignan keeping clean sheets. The results highlight improved defensive solidity and AC Milan's determination to keep up their momentum in the league, in order to consolidate second place and try to close the gap with league leaders Inter. With Rabiot suspended, Allegri will decide tomorrow who will replace him, either Ricci or Jashari, with the latter as the current favourite. Loftus-Cheek, Gabbia and Gimenez are all still unavailable, while Athekame, Fofana, Modrić and Saelemaekers are one booking away from suspension.

Massimiliano Allegri commented during the pre-match press conference, "It will be a challenging match, Lazio give very little space and apply a lot of pressure on the ball. Either Jashari or Ricci will play, but it's crucial that the team stays organised and focused defensively until the end, because Lazio tend to score in the final moments of the match."

LATEST FROM LAZIO Lazio have been inconsistent in their form, but their most recent victory against Sassuolo has given them the confidence they needed. Despite some hiccups, the Biancocelesti have demonstrated that they can compete with top-level opponents. The showdown with AC Milan is a chance to keep up their momentum and prove their quality. Lazio will aim to take advantage of the home support to secure a positive result.

"Milan are a side that can do damage even when they're not trying to. We have to stop them from finding open spaces this match and keep them away from our box. Tactically, it will be a very challenging game," commented Maurizio Sarri on the eve of the clash.
