Leeds United have three live transfer possibilities as they prepare to head to the United States this week. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, work on deals continues ahead of the pre-season tour.
Farke's squad fly later this week for a camp and three friendlies. They play Wrexham in Tampa early Sunday, then Sunderland in New Jersey and Liverpool in Chicago. World Cup players return as their FIFA three-week breaks end.
One focus is James Trafford, on a three-week break after England finished third at the World Cup. The Manchester City goalkeeper could move this summer and Leeds are in the conversation. There is no active pursuit of Royal Union Saint-Gilloise keeper Kjell Scherpen, though he is known.
Julian Brandt remains on the wishlist as his Borussia Dortmund deal expires. His father Jurgen has held talks at Thorp Arch, and other clubs are also competing for the 30-year-old.
Talk of negotiations with Lyon for Czech attacker Pavel Sulc reflects a similar picture to Scherpen. As it stands Leeds are not actively pursuing him, which could change if other business does not materialise.
Leeds' bid to land Southampton midfielder Shea Charles remains the summer saga. Claims of an agreement being close have proved inaccurate. Leeds are hopeful, but valuations are apart and the stalemate persists.
Leeds completed signings during last summer's camp, when Lucas Perri and Anton Stach arrived from Lyon and Hoffenheim. Senior staff flew to Germany to advance those deals and the club have used local facilities for medicals while abroad.
