According to Leeds Live, Daniel Farke has judged Anton Stach fit to start for Leeds United against Burnley, with the German replacing Brenden Aaronson.

Stach returned from an ankle ligament injury, initially expected to sideline him until May, in Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final defeat to Chelsea. He played the entire second half because it was a special occasion, and earlier this week Farke was unsure whether he could start tonight. He might have been withdrawn had the tie gone to extra time.

Ethan Ampadu lines up in midfield with Ao Tanaka. The only other change sees Joe Rodon recalled in defence following a hamstring injury to Gabriel Gudmundsson.

The Swede could also miss the trip to Tottenham. For tonight, James Justin switches to the left, Jayden Bogle operates on the right, and Jaka Bijol and Pascal Struijk join Rodon in a back three in front of Karl Darlow.

Bijol, like Noah Okafor, had been a doubt with a hip problem but both are available. Okafor has shaken off a calf issue and is chasing a fourth goal in as many Premier League outings.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has scored four times since the turn of the year, only one from open play 84 days ago against Nottingham Forest, and remains the club’s leading scorer with 12.

Leeds XI: Darlow, Rodon, Bijol, Sturijk, Bogle, Ampadu, Tanaka, Justin, Okafor, Stach, Calvert-Lewin. Substitutes: Perri, Byram, Bornauw, Longstaff, Aaronson, James, Gnonto, Piroe, Nmecha.
