Bold reports that Leeds United 'sent scouts' to FC Midtjylland’s Europa League win over Genk as January planning for Daniel Farke continues.
Midtjylland beat the Belgian side 1-0 in front of their home fans. Bold also noted representatives from Borussia Dortmund, Liverpool and Manchester United were present.
Meanwhile, Campo suggested the focus was on Darío Osorio, Aral Şimşir and Mikel Gogorza.
According to FotMob, Osorio operated at right wing-back in a back five and played 84 minutes, taking three shots and creating one chance. Şimşir, in the number 10 role, created five chances and completed seven dribbles, both match highs, before making way for 19-year-old Gogorza, who produced two shots in 30 minutes.
Prolific forward Franculino did not feature due to injury. He limped off after 33 minutes of Midtjylland’s league game against Viborg and, according to Flashscore, will not play again this year.
Farke has been clear about strengthening in January to keep Leeds in the top flight. The club have climbed out of the bottom three, missed out on Harry Wilson in the summer and have recently been linked with Ireland forward Troy Parrott.
