This RC Lens versus Paris Saint-Germain fixture was billed as a potential title-decider. However, initially scheduled to take place in April, it was postponed in order to aid PSG’s UEFA Champions League preparations. Whilst Les Sang et Or still have a mathematical chance of winning the Ligue 1 title, their challenge is all but over with two games to go, with Les Parisiens six points ahead and with a superior goal difference of +15.
Lens’ focus will now be on the Coupe de France, whilst PSG’s is on the UCL final against Arsenal. Nonetheless, Pierre Sage will name a first-choice XI. However, that will be without the suspended Saud Abdulhamid. It will be Ruben Aguilar who will play in his place at the Stade Bollaert tonight.
Robin Risser; Malang Sarr, Samson Baidoo, Ismaelo Ganiou; Matthieu Udol, Adrien Thomasson, Mamadou Sangaré, Ruben Aguilar; Wesley Said, Odsonne Édouard, Florian Thauvin. (L’Éq)
