Leonardo Jardim has selected Vitão to step in for Léo Pereira as Flamengo visit Estudiantes in the third round of the Libertadores group stage.
According to Coluna Do Fla, kick-off is at 21:30 Brasília time on Wednesday 29 at the Estadio Jorge Luis Hirschi in La Plata, Argentina.

Léo Pereira misses out after receiving stitches to his left shin following Sunday 26 against Atlético-MG, and he did not travel to Argentina.
Danilo will partner Vitão at centre-back, creating an alternative pairing. Danilo lines up on the right, with Vitão, the club’s first signing of the 2026 season, on the left.
Léo Ortiz is also unavailable. At right-back, Emerson Royal starts ahead of Varela, while the attack features Luiz Araújo, Lino and Bruno Henrique.
