LFP approves postponement of PSG v Nantes between Chelsea ties

The LFP has approved the postponement of PSG v Nantes, originally scheduled for Saturday 14 March between Chelsea Champions League ties. The league said in a statement that the Ligue 1 fixture will be moved at the European champions' request.

PSG won the reverse fixture 1-0 on 17 August in Ligue 1.

PSG were drawn against Chelsea on Friday and will play the first leg on Wednesday 11 March in London, with the return on Tuesday 17 March in Paris. Their staff considered the domestic slot too tight to optimise progress.

The league meeting will now take place in the week of 20 April, with exact date and kick-off time to be confirmed.

Nantes faced a similar reshuffle last season when their game with PSG was postponed as it fell midway through a Champions League quarter-final against Aston Villa.
