Liam Rosenior, 41, has been dismissed by Chelsea less than four months after leaving Strasbourg to take charge in early January, according to Le Progres.
Chelsea were knocked out of the Champions League by Paris Saint-Germain in the last 16 and sit seventh in the Premier League with four matches remaining. They have lost five league games in a row without scoring, including a 3-0 defeat at Brighton on Tuesday.
After that loss, Rosenior said the team needed to look themselves in the mirror, adding that the performance was unacceptable on every level.
Chelsea face Leeds in an FA Cup semi-final at Wembley on Sunday at 16:00, but Rosenior will not be in the dugout.
He departs after 23 matches in charge and is replaced by Calum McFarlane, who previously served as interim in January between the sacking of Maresca and the arrival of Rosenior. His sudden exit from Strasbourg had angered many supporters at the time.
