Lille OSC followed up a narrow victory over Angers SCO on the weekend with a narrow defeat to FK Crvena zvezda on Thursday, with both games being separated by a 1-0 scoreline. Les Dogues will be hoping for a far more convincing performance this afternoon when they take on European rivals RC Stasbourg Alsace away from home. 

It was bleak news for Alexsandro this week, with it being revealed that the centre-back is set to undergo surgery on a quadriceps injury. He had briefly returned to training last week before suffering this setback. He had been set for a key role this season, but in his absence, Bruno Génésio has settled for Aïssa Mandi and Chancel Mbemba as his starting centre-backs. 

Up front, Olivier Giroud should once again start as the number nine, with Hamza Igamane rested on the bench after starting in the midweek UEFA Europa League clash. Hákon Arnar Haraldsson and Matias Fernandez-Pardo should also return to the starting line-up to support the former France international, with Félix Correia keeping his spot from the trip to Serbia.
