Quansah exit could pave the way for move for Guehi
Liverpool have agreed a £35million deal to sell Jarell Quansah to Bayer Leverkusen as they plot a move for Crystal Palace centre-back Marc Guehi.
Leverkusen will pay an initial £30m for Quansah plus £5m in add-ons.
The England Under-21 international has agreed a five-year contract with the Bundesliga side and his departure could pave the way for a move for Guehi.
Crystal Palace are looking to cash in on Guehi, who is also a target for Newcastle, Arsenal and Tottenham.

The Guardian report that Guehi is prepared to see out the final year of his contract at Palace if the right move does not materialise this summer.
But Liverpool have emerged as strong contenders to sign the 24-year-old this summer and could move for him once the Quansah deal goes through.
Fabrizio Romano has given the Quansah deal the “here we go” stamp and says Liverpool have inserted a buy-back clause to give them a future option to re-sign him.
Liverpool already have an outstanding centre-back duo of Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate but are keen on a move for Guehi, who played a key role for Palace in their FA Cup win and could cost around £50m as he only has one year left on his contract.
The England defender is likely to want an immediate guarantee of regular football ahead of the World Cup next summer.
Liverpool have this summer already spent a club record £116m on Florian Wirtz, £29.5m on Jeremie Frimpong and are about to spend another £40m on Milos Kerkez as they rebuild the team that won the Premier League under Arne Slot last season.
