Anfield Watch exclusively reported that Liverpool have eyed Jean-Matteo Bahoya from Eintracht Frankfurt as a possible target.
Liverpool scouts have been impressed by the incredibly fast Eintracht Frankfurt winger who caught the eye last season with his link-up play with Hugo Ekitike.
An excellent dribbler, Bahoya's biggest asset is his speed. The winger clocked a remarkable 37.16 km/h in a match against Bochum last season, which meant he was the first player to break the 37 km/h mark in the Bundesliga.
For comparison, the world's fastest man Usain Bolt had an average speed of about 37.58 km/h (23.35 mph) during his 9.58-second 100m world record.
Bahoya's record makes him the fastest player in Europe at the moment.
So, he's exactly the profile Liverpool need and Frankfurt seem to be ready to let him go, which opens the door for Hughes to make a move.
