Liverpool midfielder says goodbye as he leaves the club

But while there's exciting arrivals at Liverpool, there's also departures.

One player who is on his way out of the club is Scofield Lonmeni. The talented midfielder who is very highly rated was picked up at grassroots level in London.

He joined the club at 14-years-old and then made his way through the ranks. Lonmeni made 30 appearances for Liverpool's U18 and U19 sides over the course of the last two seasons.

Now the 17-year-old is on the move. He joins Reading, where he had a trial and had already made five appearances for the club's U18 team.

Lonmeni came back to the club's academy complex in Kirkby to say his goodbyes this week, posing with the U18 squad and posting it on his Instagram story.
