Wirtz and Frimpong arrive at Anfield

Diaz is on the radar of Barcelona and Al-Nassr - with Liverpool looking for around €80m for the Colombian.

Chiesa will go for far less with his suitors all based in Serie A. And Doak could be a profitable chip for Richard Hughes; a £600k signing from Celtic only three years ago who has been tipped for a £30m move this summer.

With Florian Wirtz and Jeremie Frimpong already on board as new forward options, we could see other wide attackers coming to the club.

Anthony Gordon linked with £75m Liverpool move

Among those most frequently linked has been Anthony Gordon. The 24-year-old was on the Liverpool books as a young player but carved out a career at Everton before moving to Newcastle.

He was close to agreeing a deal to move to Liverpool last summer - but ended up remaining on Tyneside and signing a new long-term contract.

It would take a sizeable bid to dislodge the England man these days - with his estimated transfer value coming in at around £75m.

Anthony Gordon probably WILL join Liverpool

Transfer insider Graeme Bailey has now had his say on TBR Football - claiming that Gordon WILL end up at Liverpool. The only caveat he adds is that it won’t be this summer.

Gordon would like a move back to his hometown club ahead of deals at Chelsea or Arsenal, he claims, but Liverpool are going to have to wait.

“One day I think he probably will end up at Liverpool. Will it be this summer? I very much doubt it,” he says.

“But Liverpool is his preferred option.”

Newcastle are under less pressure to sell these days - having qualified for the Champions League and satisfied their PSR obligations through the sales of Elliot Anderson and Yankuba Minteh.
