Liverpool have a variety of youth and experience in their Premier League squad this season.
Finding the balance in each of the games is far from straightforward. Against Newcastle, for example, it was a bold call to bring Rio Ngumoha on, yet he went and scored the winner on debut.

The teenager is considered by Slot as the second left-wing option behind Cody Gakpo, despite his inexperience, and while he's yet to actually start a match, he's more than played his part so far.

Trey Nyoni, however, has been somewhat blocked out by the midfielders ahead of him and given recent events, we might now start to see him get a more involved role in the squad moving forward.
In Sunday's Premier League contest against Burnley, a lot of feisty challenges were made as the Clarets fought long and hard to defend their goal prior to conceding a decisive 94th minute penalty.
Alexis Mac Allister was subject to one such tackle and his ankle visibly buckled when contact was made, leading to him eventually being substituted at half-time for precautionary purposes.
In his post-match press-conference, Arne Slot said the decision to substitute him was partly tactical and in a lot of other ways enforced by the injury, which led the player to limp when the whistle blew.
Injured or not, playing someone not quite yet at the races is always a risk and given how Alexander Isak's introduction is being managed, you'd expect Slot to handle his situation with cautiousness.
The Argentine midfielder is now likely to join Curtis Jones on the sidelines and with two matches taking place over the next six days, that's a bit of a concern. Of course, Dominik Szoboszlai can partner Ryan Gravenberch, with Wirtz starting ahead of the double-pivot, but finding someone to cover the Hungarian - if Wataru Endo covers the Dutchman - is now imperative.
Nyoni has been added to the squad because he's ready to make a difference to the first team and after being cast to the shadows for the opening few games of the season, Slot might now need him.
Atletico Madrid visit Anfield on Wednesday before Everton follow suit on Saturday; which of the two he features in will be Slot's call, but you'd expect a promotion to the XI to finally come his way.
Stepping up to the higher level of intensity might take a little bit of time, but the Englishman's pre-season campaign was really impressive and the onlooking supporters will be behind him all the way.
