Rangers face Livingston at the Home of the Set Fare Arena on Sunday afternoon in a Scottish Premiership encounter.
The hosts are rooted to the bottom of the table with just 12 points from 27 matches and face a Rangers side sitting second with 55 points from 27 games, just five points behind league leaders Hearts with a game in hand.
Livingston manager Marvin Bartley has bolstered his attacking options ahead of Sunday’s clash with the signings of Barrie McKay and Joel Nouble. The pair have both returned to the club on short-term deals until the end of the season and Bartley believes they will have “a huge part to play” in the Lions’ survival bid.
The winger’s( McKay) signing was prompted by injuries to Connor McLennan and Scott Arfield. Also injured and sidelined are Aidan Denholm, Joshua Zimmerman, and Samson Lawal, all of whom are not expected to be back before March. Babacar Fati is also doubtful due to his thigh injury.
Rangers head coach Danny Rohl faces some fresh injury concerns ahead of Sunday’s trip to West Lothian. Rohl confirmed he will be forced to make changes to his lineup, stating: “We have to change some players. Not that I want to, I have to. We have small injuries but I cannot go into too much detail today.”
He did not particularly name anyone, but his statement confirmed that there are ongoing injury issues beyond those already sidelined.
Bailey Rice, Connor Barron, Derek Cornelius, and Max Aarons, all of them remains unavailable due to various injury issues.
Marvin Bartley took over as Livingston manager on February 1 after David Martindale moved into a sporting director role following a “terrible” 24-game winless run.
The Lions have not tasted victory since August and remain at the bottom of the Scottish Premiership. Their most recent result was a 2-2 draw away to Dundee. Currently, they are on a 27-game winless run in all competitions.
The Ibrox side have scored 18 goals in their last five matches and remain in excellent form as they chase down Hearts in the title race.
Their recent result was a win against league leaders Hearts (4-2) that reduced the points gap to just two points in a similar number of matches last week. Youssef Chermiti scored a hat-trick in that match.

Rangers: Butland; Sterling, Souttar, Fernandez, Rommens; Raskin, Chukwuani; Skov Olsen, Moore; Naderi, Chermiti
