Luton announce the appointment of Jack Wilshere | OneFootball

League One outfit Luton Town have officially confirmed the managerial appointment of former Arsenal midfield star Jack Wilshere.

Wilshere is set for his latest chapter after hanging up his boots in the summer of 2022 in the wake of his final professional stint with Danish outfit Aarhus.

The former PFA Young Player of the Year has since taken up coaching positions with Arsenal's U18s as well as Norwich, where he was both a first-team coach and caretaker manager after the sacking of Johannes Hoff Thorup.

Luton held positive talks with the 33-year-old Stevenage-native over the weekend, and will be hoping the 34-times capped former England international can hit the ground running with the Kenilworth Road side, who sit mid-table in League One after a frustrating start to the 2025/26 campaign.

His first chance to log points for his new employers comes on Saturday when the Hatters play host to visiting Mansfield Town.
