Aurelien Tchouameni’s dissipating form at Real Madrid has been subject of much discussion lately, with some even linking him with a move away from Santiago Bernabeu.
Tchouameni’s inconsistent form has left Real Madrid frustrated, with the club’s patience seemingly wearing thin.
The midfielder’s situation has not gone unnoticed either, with the player already being linked with a move to various clubs across Europe.
In a surprising development, it appears Manchester City, too, have joined the race to sign Aurelien Tchouameni in the summer.
According to reports from England as relayed by Mundo Deportivo, Man City have put money at the disposal of Pep Guardiola to go after the Real Madrid star in the summer.
Man City’s interest in the Frenchman come against the backdrop of chaos at Etihad, following the injury of midfield general and Ballon d’Or winner Rodri.

Man City have desperately lacked the services of someone who can hold things together and control the tempo in the middle of the park. And that is where Tchouameni comes into the fray.
Although the Frenchman has not performed up to expectations since joining Real Madrid, he is still regarded as one of the best young midfielders in Europe.
Securing his services, though, won’t be a straightforward task for Man City as they face stiff competition from league rivals Liverpool.
Both clubs are hopeful of luring the former AS Monaco starlet to English shores in the summer, though it remains to be seen how much Real Madrid demand for the player.
The young midfielder had joined Real Madrid for a staggering fee of €80 million. And it won’t be surprising to see Los Blancos settle for anything less than that.
