Manchester United have set their sights on Real Madrid's Aurélien Tchouaméni, identifying the French international as a potential long-term heir to Casemiro's role in the team.

According to reports, the 25-year-old midfielder is seen as an ideal fit for the Premier League, with his profile as a versatile and dominant holding player highly valued by the club. While a January approach is being contemplated, a transfer in the summer is also a viable option for United.

Tchouaméni has grown into a central component of Real Madrid's midfield under manager Xabi Alonso. Consequently, the Spanish giants would only entertain a sale if the player himself actively seeks a departure. Any deal for the midfielder, whose contract extends to 2028, is expected to command a fee in the region of £88 million.
