Marcos Senesi unveiled by Tottenham on free transfer to 2030 | OneFootball

Tottenham have unveiled Argentine defender Marcos Senesi ahead of next season, signing him on a contract running to 2030.

According to SuperDepor.com, the club announced the signing in a video featuring Osvaldo Ardiles, a former player at the club in 1978.

He arrives as a free agent after four seasons with Bournemouth, who have qualified for European competition for the first time.

Senesi said he wants to win trophies with Tottenham and will do everything he can, aiming to make supporters proud and help return the club to where it belongs.

Sporting director Johan Lange said the defender brings quality, intelligence and leadership, and that his desire to compete for every ball makes him an excellent fit for the team’s style.

Head coach Roberto De Zerbi said he is eager to work with Senesi, praising his mentality and desire to keep improving. He added that the defender is comfortable in a possession-based team, reads the game well and has the personality to thrive in a demanding environment.
