According to RMC Sport, Marseille's Nayef Aguerd, 29, will undergo adductor surgery soon.
The Morocco international has been hampered by pubalgia this season with Olympique de Marseille. Foot Mercato reports that the defender himself pushed for the operation to resolve the issue.

His wish to feature at the Africa Cup of Nations delayed any procedure, and Marseille managed his minutes in the build-up to the tournament.
RMC Sport adds that the problem has become too recurrent and significant, restricting his level.
Aguerd is aiming for a swift comeback before the end of the Ligue 1 campaign in mid-May.
